ic485IP Interface Converters provide asynchronous conversion between RS-232 interface and RS-485 standard interface. The RS-232 interface connection is via the unit's DB-25 female connector, while the RS-485 side connection is via either a five screw terminal block or an RJ-45. The ic485IP converter's circuitry is not electrically isolation between the RS-232 and RS-485 sides.
