GPOE-SP-24 is a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE surge protector designed to protect all 8 lines used in standard CAT6 cable. This product is compatible with 100/1000Base-T networks and 48V Power Over Ethernet systems. The Standard 802.11af/at allows the methods of implementing POE. It protects data pairs (pins 1/2 and pins 3/6) and power over the unused pairs (pins 4/5 and pins 7/8). GPOE-SP-24 protection is provided on all 8 Ethernet pins (6.8V clamping on Data pins 1, 2, 3, 6 and 53V clamping on POE pins 4, 5, 7, 8). Network connections are made via standard female RJ45 connectors. Grounding is accomplished via a ground wire. GPOE-SP series family surge protectors include 1, 8, 16 and 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports at your choice.
Installation
• Run the grounding line as short as possible.
• Loops or parallel runs of protected and unprotected lines must be avoided.
• RJ45 IN and OUT. OUT RJ45 ports are protected. Observe the relevant DIN VDE regulations.
